Gaming’s big summer show, E3, was canceled this year after many big companies, including Microsoft, decided to hold their separate shows online instead of making a physical appearance. Microsoft previously confirmed that it would conduct its own Xbox Games showcase with a Starfield Direct on June 11.
WalkingCat on Twitter, a reliable source, tweeted that the showcase will reportedly last for 2 hours on June 11 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The Xbox Games Showcase will likely take 90 minutes, while the remaining 30 minutes could be dedicated to Starfield.
Starfield is the most highly anticipated launch for Xbox since the Bethesda acquisition. The sci-fi-themed game, inspired by almost every sci-fi Tv show and movie, has been under active development for over five years.
This is Bethesda Game Studios’ first new IP in over a decade, and the game has been delayed multiple times to get polished and is finally set to launch for Xbox and PC on September 6, 2023.
The Xbox Games Showcase will also feature new game announcements and details on the previous first-party games in development. Games like Stalker 2 and Ark 2 are set to launch as timed exclusives for Xbox and PC and might show up at the event.
We have not seen new gameplay footage of other first-party games like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 since the gameplay reveal in 2021. Gears 6 is also reportedly in development, but it is unclear which of these games will be at the showcase.
This sounds like fans will have plenty of time for new announcements and detailed looks at already announced games from the gaming giant. With two months left for the showcase, the anticipation for the events is sky-high.
