The difference in launch prices of these GPUs was very small; however, the RX 6800 now costs about 31.8% less than the RTX 4070. It is because the RX 6800 is very outdated. However, if we talk about performance per dollar, the RX 6800 is still better than the RTX 4070. And regarding the availability, these GPUs are readily available in the markets.

AMD Radeon RX 6800: The RX 6800 provides phenomenal performance for a mid-range GPU, especially for gamers with a tight budget. The RX 6800 is capable of carrying modern-day games at 1080p and 1440p resolutions with good performance with the help of its 16GB VRAM, more ROPs and many RT Cores.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070: The RTX 4070 is an even better GPU with greater performance and better power and thermal efficiency. However, its performance is insufficient, though, given its current cost.
