It has been reported that Asus might unveil the GeForce RTX 40-Series Noctua Edition graphics cards next year in January at CES 2023.
According to nApoleon, the chief editor of Chiphell, Asus is collaborating with Noctua to bring forward the next generation of RTX cards from Nvidia. There is no news on what RTX 40-series card will get a Noctua makeover, but it would be either the GeForce RTX 4080 or GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, which will be announced at the event.
This time, Asus and Noctua are reportedly working on an even better, more premium-looking design.
Last year Asus came up with two Noctua variant graphics cards for the RTX 30-series, including the GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080. Both variants came equipped with a massive Noctua cooler and two Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM Fans.
The Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM is currently the best-performing fan that Noctua offers with the silent operation; for reference, the GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua edition does not go above 60c and is barely audible even on full load.
The current generation graphics cards are power-hungry compared to last year, making quad slot cooler a must to maintain acceptable temperatures. Even Founders Edition from Nvidia is now on par with custom AIB models from companies like Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, etc.
So, it would not be surprising to see a quad-slot cooler from Noctua or a triple fan cooler offering better cooling performance than its competition. The Noctua version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series is expected to launch next year at CES 2023 in January; stay tuned till then.
