Regarding announcements, the developer has no shortage of existing IPs that can be revisited for a new game.
Over the last few years, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has seen a considerable surge in popularity. The game also celebrated its tenth-anniversary last month, so a remaster or sequel announcement would not be too surprising.
However, reports have also claimed that PlatinumGames may want to revive Scalebound. The project was initially revealed as a console exclusive for the Xbox One but was canceled due to several development troubles.
Either of these announcements would be great, but another report claims that Shinji Mikami is involved in a potential project with the studio. Shinji Mikami recently left Tango Gameworks and has previously worked with PlatinumGames on games like Vanquish.
