The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti did not get a Founders Edition version, but its non-Ti variant will get the FE treatment from Nvidia based on the new leaked images.

If we talk about the design level, there is nothing relevant. The black color of the cooling system itself and the fans stands out. A silver trim only breaks this. There are also no aesthetic changes to the fans since we have the same dual fan configuration on each side of the PCB.

Like other RTX 40-series graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 4070 will also be the 16-pin PCIe Gen 5 connector. It is expected that there will be custom models that opt for the 8-pin connector. Of course, the maximum power that the GPU can reach through overclocking will be limited.

Regarding specifications, GeForce RTX 4070 offers 12 GB of GDDR6X memory; it clocks in at 21 Gbps tied to a 192-bit memory interface. The result is a bandwidth of just 504.2 GB/s, less than the 608 GB/s that the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti can offer.

Regarding connectivity, the GeForce RTX 4070 gives access to 4 video outputs — three in the form of DisplayPort 1.4 and one in the form of HDMI 2.1. Of course, at the size level, its PCB is much shorter than what we are used to seeing. In essence, its size is similar to the GeForce RTX 3070 FE. This way, it will fit almost any chassis, including compact size (Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX).

The GeForce RTX 4070 and GeForce RTX 4070 Ti share the same bandwidth. All this is linked to a TDP of 200W (vs. 290W RTX 3070 Ti; vs. 220W RTX 3070). The only significant difference compared to the GeForce RTX 3070 Series is having access to NVIDIA DLSS 3 technology.

The GeForce RTX 4070 will officially arrive on 13 April at a recommended price of $599, which is $200 less than the RTX 4070Ti. It is also the same launch price as the GeForce RTX 3070 TI and $100 more than the GeForce RTX 3070.
