After the launch of AMD Radeon RX 6400 to dominate the entry-level market, it seems like Nvidia is also planning to launch Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630, which would be the first x30 series graphics card in the history of the GeForce GTX series.
AMD with its Radeon RX 6400 leaves Nvidia in a very bad place to even compete in the business of entry-level graphics cards. The most affordable product is capable of offering consumers few resources or who do not need more graphics to enjoy their favorite games.
Just yesterday, AMD was bragging about its AMD Radeon RX 6400 was the queen of that segment, as it boasted that this graphics card, priced at $160, was far superior to the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with a recommended price of 192 Dollars.
As can be seen above, in FHD 1080p resolution with medium quality graphics settings, we are talking about the AMD Radeon RX 6400 offering on average 67 FPS, while consuming 53W power in comparison to the 42 FPS on average and 75W of consumption of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, according to internal AMD tests.
This means that the AMD option offers 89% more FPSs per dollar invested, coupled with 123% more performance for each watt of power it consumes!
This reason is enough for Nvidia to launch an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630, which should at least match the comparison, since its older brother, the GeForce GTX 1650, competes in price with the Radeon RX 6500 XT, although its performance is comparable to that of the Radeon RX 6500 XT.
For now, the specifications of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630 are unknown, so we will have to wait for leaks to arrive to know what we will find, but Nvidia will have to drop the price and force its partners to deflate prices if they want to do something in the business of entry-level and low-end Graphics cards.
