The upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is set to get announced next week on 3rd January during CES 2023. Like every other product launch, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is also expected to personally announce the previously Unlaunched GeForce RTX 4080 12GB.

There is no official information on the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, but it’s expected to have a similar or slightly better performance to the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. In short, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is Nvidia’s answer to the RDNA3 from AMD.

According to a reliable source tweet, Moore’s Law is Dead, Nvidia might reconsider its price on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. Nvidia is expected to price the new mid-upper range graphics card $100 lower than the previously expected price, which was $899.

Furthermore, it also seems Nvidia is directly competing against the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, which is priced similarly to the reference model. Though do expect custom variants of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti to be above $900, considering how GeForce RTX 4080 16GB custom variants are selling for over $1500.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will be based on Nvidia’ Ada Lovelace’ architecture and equipped with AD104-400 GPU. The card will also feature 60 SMs and 7,680 CUDA Cores, while the 12GB of GDDR6X memory on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will run on a 192-bit bus interface with 48 MB of L2 cache.

A price cut on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti would undoubtedly do well for Nvidia, considering how the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB did at launch. But we would still take this news with a grain of salt as, in the end, it all depends on Nvidia.

The green team is still considering and might decide to sell the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti at the expected initial price of $899 instead.

What are your thoughts on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti? Would you be willing to get one if Nvidia sells the GeForce RTX 4070 Founders Edition for $799?
