According to the foreign media, Intel is planning to launch its remaining 13th generation Non-K chips next year on the 3rd of January, along with a new mainstream B760 chipset motherboard during CES 2023.

The upcoming Non-K 13th generation Intel chips should not be a mystery to anyone as it has been leaked and reported several times. The batch of the lineup will include around 16 different processor versions, starting from the regular 65W chips alongside the F and T variants. The F variant from Intel is cheaper than the non-F variant and does not come with an iGPU, while the T variant will be low-powered 35W chips.

The Non-K Intel 13th generation chips will be supported on existing Intel boards, including Z790, Z690, H670, B660, and H610. At the same time, the new mainstream Intel B760 chipset will be an excellent option for anyone that isn’t sold over the expensive board from AMD.

The Intel B760, in terms of value, will be directly targeting AMD B650 boards that are way too expensive for being a budget board. With the launch of B760 boards, Intel would also be slashing prices on old B660 boards, so it would be a good option for anyone looking to save some money by going with the new 13th-generation Non-K chip with a discounted B660 board.

Competition is always good for the market, and Intel is currently the one dominating value, especially after the launch of the AM5 platform from AMD. AMD is also reportedly working on introducing Non-X variants of its Ryzen 7000 series. This should lower the prices on the expensive Zen 4 chips, but still, it will be hard for AMD to tackle Intel’s value proposition for gamers until we see a reduction in price on AM5 boards.

What are your thoughts on the new Intel Non-k 13th-generation lineup? Would you be getting Intel over AMD this year?
