Nvidia’s recently released graphics card has already seen a price reduction. The graphics card in question is the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Ventus 2X Black from MSI.
Compared to other RTX 4000 series products, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti had one of the most underwhelming launches, with bad reviews and launch sales. The newest Nvidia product offers a poor price-to-performance ratio compared to other offerings from Nvidia and AMD.
Following this reception, the graphics card can be found for $379.99.
In terms of competition, the Radeon RX 6700 XT from AMD is currently being sold for $330 on Newegg. The performance of the Radeon RX 6700 XT is similar to the latest Nvidia launch, making it a better buy.
Furthermore, the Radeon RX 6700 XT also comes equipped with 12 GB of memory. This makes it much more compatible with current and future AAA games requiring more than 8GB of memory.
With all things considered, it should not come as a surprise that MSI decided to reduce the price of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. With a drop in price of 5%, the MSI Ventus X2 GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is now $20 lower than its MSRP.
MSI might also be preparing for the launch of the cheaper GeForce RTX 4060. The graphics card is now confirmed to launch on June 29 for $300. Following the price drop, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is now $80 more expensive than the upcoming graphics card.
Based on the current demand for brand-new graphics cards in the market, it would not be surprising to see even more price drops.
