The title Forza Horizon requires no introduction as it is one of the most well-known titles in the gaming community when it comes to the racing category. Its recent title Forza Horizon 5, is arguably one of Xbox’s best exclusive games and has been a global success (currently the number one selling Xbox One game with 10 million sold). As we all know, Playground Games is very active with the game and constantly updating it with new patches and upgrades, the most recent being Storm Season of Autumn.
Now it seems like, Playground Games does not want to stop there, as they are already working on the next Forza Horizon game. According to recent job posts by the developers on LinkedIn, Playground Games is presently working on the future Forza Horizon title (Forza Horizon 6).
Playground Games states in the Job posting on LinkedIn that they are currently looking for a level designer who can join their Forza horizon team and work on the level design team for their next upcoming AAA title, which would be the newest addition to the Forza Horizon family.
You will be a part of the level design team on our next AAA title, responsible for creating fun, playable gameplay experiences.
It would make sense that Playground Games is already working on Forza Horizon 6, given the success of its predecessors, as well as the fact that these AAA titles can take a long time to perfect, so it might be a while before we see an official announcement or release for the Forza Horizon 6. Nonetheless, it’s good to know that Forza Horizon 6 could be under development. Considering how Playground Games have previously handled Forza titles, we are in for a big treat with the upcoming title.
While we expect to see and experience Forza Horizon 6 in action soon, take this news with a grain of salt because it is all based on a job listing and might be proven inaccurate at any point.
