Respawn Entertainment, in 2019, launched their version of a Battle Royale game in the form of Apex Legends. It opened up to great reviews from critics as well as gamers. The map design, mechanics, and overall graphics were praised by everyone and it became a very popular e-sports title in no time. Along with this, everyone loved that you were not forced on microtransactions. Although the game does feature items that you could get in the form of microtransactions, not buying them doesn’t limit your gameplay.

Initially, the game was launched on the PC, PlayStation, and Xbox only and was a collaboration between Respawn entertainment and EA. In 2021, it was added to the Nintendo Switch as well. This year Respawn Entertainment is teaming up with Lightspeed & Quantum to increase the platforms and bring the game to mobile too. Earlier this year it was announced by the Developers that they will be bringing Apex Legends to mobile phones with it being available on both IOS and Android

The really impressive part is since the pre-registrations opened on March 17, 2022, the number of people who have preregistered for the game has exceeded 10 million. That puts the game in a great position at the time of the launch. These breakthrough numbers were announced by Apex Legends Mobile Japan Twitter account:

Another notable point is that the game has already been launched in certain regions across the world. It was released in Australia, Argentina, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, and Singapore on March 7, 2022. Though it is still in the testing phase the initial reviews have been quite positive. However, More systems and material will be available for the game’s global debut, according to the official Apex Legends page. Furthermore, the game is being built only on mobile phones and will not support crossplay with PC and consoles

There will be some additional content and gifts too if the pre-registration targets are met. According to the official Apex Mobile Webpage, if there are more than 15 million pre-registered users, they will receive a new holo spray, and if there are more than 25 million, they will receive the Pathfinder exclusive skin “Sunfire Initiate.” And at the rate at which the preregistrations are increasing looks like they will achieve their designated target in no time.

There has been no official announcement as to when will the game be available for all regions except that it will be launched in 2022. However, since the regional testing release was already a month ago we can expect the game launch to be in the near future. Meanwhile, you can go to the Apex Mobile page and pre-register there to be notified the moment, the game is available on Android’s Play Store or Apple’s App Store. And stay tuned for any further news.
