Over the last few years, more and more PlayStation games have made their way to the PC platform. Big hitters like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding are all available on PC, despite being first-party Sony titles. Moreover, some of the Uncharted games will soon be available on Steam as well.

In a recent report, Sony has expressed their interest in bringing even more titles to the PC platform. While the company hasn’t specified any titles in particular, it seems like one of PlayStation 5’s most popular exclusives will soon be available on PC.

A recent SteamDB page has hinted at a PC port for Returnal. The game was released in April, 2021 and could soon be joining PlayStation’s catalogue of first-party games on PC.

As the screenshot shows, the SteamDB page mentions the “Tower of Sisyphus”. This could be a reference to a similarly named DLC for Returnal. The game was also part of the GeForce Now leak which has proven to be accurate so far. Moreover, the SteamDB page also includes several tags that can be used to describe Returnal.

Tags such as Rogue-lite and Bullet Hell are perfect descriptions of Returnal’s gameplay. The game also features a female protagonist and online co-op, adding further credibility to the game’s arrival on Steam.

Despite the evidence pointing to a Steam release for the game, it would be wise to take this information with a grain of salt. Sony has not made any official comments on the matter so far.

Returnal is among the best offerings on the PlayStation 5. The game revolves around fast paced third person shooter gameplay with a story featuring a psychological horror element. Upon release, the game was praised for its incredible visuals and engaging gameplay.

A PC release will likely introduce the game to a whole new audience of players. As such, Returnal will be a worthy addition to PlayStation’s library of PC releases and could end up being Sony’s most successful release on the platform yet.
