| Dimensions: 600 x 248 x 550 mm | GPU Clearance: 450 mm | CPU Cooler Clearance: 190 mm | Ports: 4x USB 3.0, Optional USB Type-C, 1x 3.5 mm Mic/Headphone Jack | Drive Bays: 4x 2.5-inch, 6x 3.5-inch | Included Fans:Total 3x – 2x 140 mm fans (front) and 1x 140 mm fan (back)

Pros

  • Dual-vertical GPU mounts
  • Easy to install components
  • Impressive cooling support
  • Lots of space
  • Excellent airflow

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Plain design

Aesthetics & Build Quality: The Corsair 7000D stands tall and features large triangular cutouts up front instead of the generic mesh pattern. Over the top, we have the same panel. Other than this and the tempered glass, the chassis has a mostly plain design that looks quite nice, and the chassis is built solid.

Cooling Performance: With its innovative mesh panels, pre-installed fans, and large size, the chassis is a cooling powerhouse. You can install up to 2x 480mm radiators (front and top) and up to 12 fans. In my benchmarks, the chassis kept the components cool under stress while producing hardly any noise.

Features: Thanks to its large size, the chassis is very easy to work with. It also includes three 140mm RGB fans and a PWM fan hub behind the motherboard. I liked that it includes four USB 3.0 ports instead of the usual two. Also, cable management was super easy with plenty of space and cutouts available.

PRO TIP: Make sure to clean the chassis and fans of dust to maintain optimal airflow.

Buy It If

✅ You need ample space: This roomy case allows you to easily house plenty of components with up to three radiators, 12 fans, and up to two GPUs.

✅ Airflow is a priority: It certainly lives up to its name since it provides maximum airflow and allows more possibilities to regulate even more airflow by installing additional fans or radiators.

Don’t Buy It If

❌ You prioritize aesthetics: Lack of a matching cover for the PSU LCD cutout may be off-putting, especially if you don’t opt for the LCD PSU.

❌ Included accessories matter: For a pricey case, they could include their well-known PWM fan splitter instead of the unnamed one they provide in this case.

What Makes It The Best Overall Full-Tower PC Case?

The Corsair 7000D provides a simple yet elegant aesthetic and provides superb airflow. It also provides plenty of room for components, three pre-installed fans, and four USB 3.0 ports on the front. All of these and more meant it was my top pick for the “Best Overall Full-Tower PC Case” category.

ASUS Rog Hyperion GR701

Best High-End Full Tower PC Case

ASUS ROG Hyperion GR701 - Best Full Tower PC Case
ASUS ROG Hyperion GR701

Specifications: Type: Full-Tower Case | Colors: Black | Motherboard Support: E-ATX, ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX
| Dimensions: 268 x 639 x 659 mm | GPU Clearance: 460 mm | CPU Cooler Clearance: 190 mm | Ports: 4x USB 3.2, 2x USB Type-C, 1x 3.5 mm Mic/Headphone Jack | Drive Bays: 2x 2.5″/3.5″, 5x 2.5″ | Included Fans: 3x 140mm on Front, 1x 140mm on Rear

Pros

  • One-of-a-kind design
  • 4x Preinstalled Fans
  • Superb Airflow
  • Lots of room

Cons

  • Expensive

Aesthetics & Build Quality: The case features a signature “X” on the front, giving it an aggressive look. It also has RGB on the front panel, its pre-installed fans, and in the interior. ASUS’ execution of the use of four materials (Aluminum, Steel, Tempered glass and ABS plastic) impressed me, as the build quality is terrific.

Cooling Performance: Its features an air intake channel up front for airflow. You can also install up to 7x 120/140mm fans which translates into 2x 420/360mm radiator support and a 120/140mm radiator on the rear. I tested the chassis only with its 4x pre-installed fans, and both the CPU and GPU stayed under 70°C under stress.

Features: We get decent storage options, with 5x 2.5″ and 2x 2.5″/3.5″ drive bays, along with 9x horizontal and 3x vertical expansion slots. For I/O, it offers 4x USB 3.2 and 2x USB Type-C ports. Additionally there are 3x removable dust filters and I loved the addition of its hidden tool drawer for the screws.

WARNING: The chassis is not the easiest to work with when it comes to installation. If this is a concern, it may be worth seeking other options in this list.

Buy It If

✅ You appreciate its aggressive design: If you are a fan of aggressive designs, this chassis is where it’s at.

✅ Excessive cooling support is important: The chassis offers plenty of room for radiators and supports custom-loop water cooling, too.

Don’t Buy It If:

❌ You’re on a tight budget: The main drawback of the ASUS Rog Hyperion GR701 is its price tag, which may be out of reach for some users.

What Makes It The Best High-End Full-Tower PC Case?

With its exceptional design, excellent cooling support, storage capability, and various I/O ports, the ROG Hyperion GR701 is an excellent high-end chassis. It is a bit expensive, but the quality and features it offers make it worth the investment for professional gamers and PC enthusiasts. With that said, it left a positive impression on me and I choose it as the best high-end full-tower PC case.

Thermaltake View 51 Snow

Best E-ATX Full Tower PC Case

Thermaltake View 51 Snow - Best Full Tower PC Case
Thermaltake View 51 Snow

Specifications: Type: Full-Tower Case | Colors: Black and White | Motherboard Support: Mini-ITX, E-ATX, ATX, MicroATX | Dimensions: 550 x 315 x 525 mm | GPU Clearance: 440 mm | CPU Cooler Clearance: 175 mm | PSU Clearance: 200 mm | Ports: 1x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, headphone, mic, RGB button | Drive Bays: 2x 3.5-inch, 2x 2.5-inch | Included Fans: Total 3x fans – 2x 200 mm RGB (Front) and 1x 120 mm RGB (Rear)

Pros

  • Economical for a full-tower case
  • Design similar to expensive open-cases
  • Great for custom loop cooling
  • Extensive fan/radiator support

Cons

  • Lack of drive bays
  • Installation can be a little tricky

Aesthetics & Build Quality: The Thermaltake View 51 is a large cube-style chassis with black and white options. It offers a sleek and spacious design, and what’s immediately noticeable is its 2x 200mm fans up front, enclosed by a 4mm tempered glass window. I was also impressed by its sturdy build quality.

Cooling Performance: Its 2x massive fans in the front and a 120mm one in the rear provides an already configured decent airflow configuration. Moreover, if we remove all the bottom mounts, there’s space for 3x 120mm fans/1x 360mm radiator. So, despite its relatively small size, it showed excellent thermal and noise performance outputs.

Features: First off, the chassis includes 3x fans and a vertical GPU mount (but no riser cable). Also, vertical GPU mounting will limit clearance for the bottom radiator installation, which disappointed me. Underneath the bottom is a slidable dust filter. There are eight PCIe slots in the back which can be rotated sideways.

Impressed with the chassis, here’s what our senior reviewer Nauman Siddique had to say:

“The Thermaltake View 51 TG SNOW ARGB Edition is a spacious full-tower PC case with a sleek white design featuring ARGB lighting, ample cooling options, and a modular layout.”

Buy It If

Here are some more clicks of the chassis from our review:

✅ You want a visually striking white PC case: The Thermaltake View 51 Snow is a stunning white PC case that highlights your components due to its white chassis.

Don’t Buy It If

❌ You seek straightforward radiator installation: Installing the radiator might be a bit tricky for beginners.

What Makes It The Best White Full-Tower PC Case?

This case is a whole package, with the great looks, the regulation of airflow, and especially the price. However, there are a few things that could’ve been better like hard drive support and limited radiator clearance with the vertical GPU mount. Regardless of these downsides and considering the price, I picked the Thermaltake View 51 Snow as the best White Full Tower PC Case.

be quiet! Dark Base Pro 901

Best Quiet Full Tower PC Case

be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 - Best Full Tower PC Case
be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900

Specifications: Type: Full-Tower Case | Colors: Black | Motherboard Support: E-ATX, ATX , M-ATX, Mini-ITX | Dimensions: 604 x 254 x 569 mm | GPU Clearance: up to 495 mm | CPU Cooler Clearance: Up to 190 mm | Ports: 4x USB 3.0, 1x USB Type-C, Mic, Headphone, Qi Wireless Charger | Drive Bays: 2x 3.5, 6x 2.5-inch, 1x 5.25-inch (external) | Included Fans: Total 3x fans – 2x 140 mm (Front) and 1x 140 mm (Rear)

Pros

  • Noise-dampening material
  • Fully modular full tower PC case
  • Touch-sensitive I/O panel
  • Integrated ARGB lighting
  • Color theme instead of solid color
  • 3x Silent Wings 4 fans included

Cons

  • Expensive

Aesthetics & Build Quality: The front of the Dark Base Pro 901 features a solid brushed-aluminum panel, but one which can be replaced by the meshed top cover. On the side, we have a tempered and tinted glass panel. Its integrated RGB strip adds to its sleek look, and the chassis is incredibly sturdy in its build quality.

Cooling Performance: With its default configuration, it focuses on quiet operation. But, you can switch the top mesh cover with the front panel, which introduced somewhat more noise, but drastically improved temperatures too, in my testing. There’s provision for a 420mm radiator up front, and 8x fans across the rest of the case.

Features: For me, the best feature was the interchangeable front and top sides as it made significant differences in my testing. Its smartphone charging panel and touch sensitive IO panels are honorable mentions. Furthermore, the GPU (495mm) and air cooler (190mm) clearance is incredible.

PRO TIP: Replace the top cover with the front panel if the airflow is not good enough.

Buy It If:

✅ You want a feature-packed case: From its wireless charging panel to its integrated ARGB lighting supporting monochromatic lighting, the chassis is heaven for those that seek top functionality in a PC case.

Don’t Buy It If:

❌ Price is too high: For the number of features and its performance, I can’t blame Be Quiet, but the chassis will surely be out of range for some individuals.

What Makes It The Best Quiet Full-Tower PC Case?

This case does not come cheap, but that can be easily disregarded since Be Quite! managed to stay true to the modularity aspect. Moreover, the provided wireless charger, touch-controlled IO panel, and the great design seals the deal. The addition of noise-damping material and the Be Quiet’s silent fans make the Dark Base Pro 901 not makes it extremely quiet but also earns it the Best Full-Size PC Case award from me.

How We Tested The Best Full-Tower PC Cases

Before rounding up our top picks for the best full-tower PC cases, we scrutinized a bunch of different chassis based on these factors:

  • Cooling Performance: We took a close look at how each computer case handles heat, focusing on airflow. Our detailed review included checking the setup and layout of fan mounts, the ability to fit large water cooling radiators for those who prefer water cooling, and how well the design encourages air to move through the case. We paid extra attention to elements like mesh fronts or ventilated panels, which play a big role in boosting airflow and reducing the chance of the computer getting too hot.
  • Design: We know that what looks good varies from person to person, so we made sure to consider how each case looks. This included examining their shape, color, and any special features like tempered glass panels that let you see the computer’s components. • Value: When it comes to getting your money’s worth, we focused on finding cases that strike the right balance between cost and features. We looked at the quality of the materials used, the extra accessories provided, and innovative design features like smart cable management. These factors help determine the overall value and whether the price is justified.
  • Storage Options: Because everyone’s storage needs are different, we carefully reviewed what storage solutions each case offers. We looked at the number and types of drive bays available and considered how they meet current and future storage needs. The ease with which storage can be expanded or rearranged was also an important part of our review.
