- Cyberpunk 2077’s official support has ended, and the game now has zero developers working on it.
- A report suggests that FSR 3 is still planned for the future.
- This may end up being the last update before CDPR moves on completely.
Although CDPR has been active in updating its ongoing projects, Cyberpunk 2077’s support has come to an end. This RPG enjoyed four long years of updates, one major expansion, and a huge system rework through update 2.0.
Recently, the team confirmed that zero developers were working on Cyberpunk 2077. However, it seems one final update is still due before they move on completely. According to a report, FSR 3 is still being worked on for the RPG.
Why it matters: FSR 3 Frame Generation can finally make the path-tracing mode playable for millions without the latest Nvidia GeForce graphics cards.
IGN has been able to confirm that CDPR continues to work on FSR 3 for the RPG.
We are still working on FSR 3 support.

However, the team did not confirm when this update would be launched.
The studio hasn’t confirmed whether FSR 3 will be launched on consoles either. Following Immortals of Aveum’s latest update, Frame Generation is now available on consoles, allowing more intensive games to push for higher frame rates.
Such an update would be quite handy for Cyberpunk 2077 since it has proven to be one of this generation’s most intensive titles. This statement also suggests that CDPR may still release a few updates here and there for the RPG.
Twitter users have also spotted that a QA branch for the RPG on Steam has recently received an update. This likely means that smaller updates, in addition to the FSR 3 implementation, are moving full steam ahead.
CDPR has always been known to implement the latest technologies into its games. It comes as no surprise that the studio hopes to add FSR 3 as well, making Cyberpunk 2077 even better before the developer fully commits to The Witcher 4 and Project Orion.
