After a challenging period in recent years, Bioware appears to have a great opportunity to regain its footing with the highly anticipated releases of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and Mass Effect 4.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and Mass Effect 4 have garnered significant anticipation due to the established fanbases of these IPs. However, job listings suggest that Bioware is working on another project in addition to these titles.

Why it matters: Bioware is already stretched thin between these two massive projects, with Mass Effect 4 expected to arrive in a few years. Therefore, adding a third project makes the team’s future more interesting.

As spotted by Gamerant, a recent job listing on LinkedIn for a temporary Development Manager at Bioware indicates that the company is seeking someone to assist in 2-3 projects.

Currently, there is minimal information available about this additional title. Since the team is focused on reviving its two biggest IPs, we might have to wait multiple years before information on this third project.

However, Bioware is known to announce its games several years ahead of release. Therefore, a small teaser could show up as the launch of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf draws nearer.

Since no official release date has been announced for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and information about Mass Effect 4 has been limited to teasers, the team seems to be focused entirely on these two projects.

Fans, however, are expressing concern about these upcoming games because Bioware has struggled in recent years. The studio appears to have lost its footing and is perceived to have lost the original charm that propelled it to success.
