The last few days have not been kind to Xbox and its fandom. Rumors have suggested all types of moves for the gaming giant, suggesting Starfield would be released on the PS5 and Microsoft would quit making consoles.

However, Phil Spencer was quick to come forward and announce a business update for those seeking clarifications after the rumors. Xbox has now confirmed a date for this business update.

Xbox’s latest tweet confirms a new podcast. This podcast will see key members of the Microsoft gaming division joining forces to discuss the future of this brand.

Phil Spencer, Matt Booty, and Sarah Bond will all be part of the update. Folks patiently anticipating these announcements can tune into the podcast on the 15th of February at 12 PM PT.

As for the actual announcement, not much is currently known. However, current speculation suggests that Microsoft will deny some rumors while confirming a few other ones.

Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves, in particular, are expected to go multiplatform. Meanwhile, the pushback from recent reports may lead to Starfield retaining its exclusive status.

Still, a recent report suggested that one major exclusive is still set to go multiplatform.

According to other rumors, Xbox has been planning this update since last year. However, recent rumors and reactions from the community forced the gaming giant to hold it sooner than expected.

A business update is not a common move from PlayStation and Xbox.
