Just a few days before the much-awaited GTA 6 trailer, Rockstar has started dropping little teasers for the game. Recently, the company teased a potential location for GTA 6 in their promotional ad.

The whole thing might be a coincidence, but the clues certainly make sense.

Why it matters: According to leaked gameplay footage from last year, it appears that GTA 6 will take place in Vice City. The new Rockstar promotional ad solidifies the rumors that the game will be set in Vice City.

The exciting hint is a new clothing patch you can snag at the official Rockstar Games store.

This patch with “I love VC” created excitement in the community, hinting at a link between GTA 6 and the famous Vice City. While this location was already expected for the game, this could be just one of the many teasers coming in the next few days.

Recently, Rockstar Games made massive changes to its websites, swapping out all mentions of the Social Club with the ‘Rockstar Games Platform.’

The total absence of Social Club references and the widespread use of the Rockstar logo suggest a new platform is on the horizon, possibly coinciding with the reveal of GTA 6.

Rockstar Games is set to drop the first new Grand Theft Auto trailer in early December 2023. The initial announcement tweet is already gaming’s biggest social media post on the platform, so it is safe to say the trailer will break the internet.

While The Game Awards are right around the corner, GTA 6 is expected to show up on a separate date. This is because this announcement would likely overshadow the awards and become the center of attention.

Either way, the countdown for the GTA 6 trailer is underway, and the hype within the community is tangible. After 8 years of development, expectations are high for the game. However, the company has a track record of delivering on its promises.
