And now, this new indie hit has reached a new milestone, hitting 184K concurrent players. This is an impressive achievement, given the fact that the title is still in early access.

This indie standout has won over gamers and received a hugely positive response on Steam, with an outstanding 98% positive rating from over 72,000 user reviews. Players love the unique gameplay loop and horror elements that elevate the game’s overall experience.

Lethal Company owes some of its success to a smart pricing strategy. With a price of $10, it appeals to budget-conscious gamers without compromising on the quality experience.

The game keeps things simple with its approach to exploration, loot gathering, and escape, adding to the excitement. It provides an immersive horror yet easy-to-grasp experience, broadening the appeal to a larger audience.

As technology progresses, indie games like Lethal Company could rival traditional AAA development. The ongoing success of the game proves that a product doesn’t always require massive budgets and resources to connect with the gaming community.

Perhaps AAA studios can take inspiration from Lethal Company and develop more small-scale games.
