Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is headed to the PS5 in 2023 after years of anticipation. The game has been the subject of immense hype ever since its announcement, thanks to the reception of its predecessor.

As the game’s release date draws nearer, Insomniac Games appears to be ready to ship a complete product at release on October 20. The studio has officially announced that the game has gone gold.

Insomniac Games is known for delivering quality content, and the Spider-Man franchise has become the studio’s most popular IP to date, taking the developer to new heights.

However, the studio is also moving to other superhero IPs, currently working on a Wolverine game. While the game has been out of the spotlight since 2021, the team is expected to focus entirely on Wolverine after the upcoming release.
