Intel Core i5 1335U: The Core i5-1355U performed 14.7% faster in our multi-core tests and 1.6% faster in the single-core tests. It also won the Blender render test. In the remaining tests, the Core i7-1255U performed better but by a narrow margin.
Intel Core i5 1255U: We experienced that the price gap favors Intel’s Core i7-1255U. Keep in mind its higher power consumption and potential for thermal throttling. Also, note that memory support isn’t as robust as the Core i5-1355U. However, the Core i7-1255U offers a better performance-per-dollar ratio than the Core i5-1335U.
We recommend the Intel Core i5 1335U as it has more potential and memory support than the Core i5 1255U despite having a below-par value. This performance in benchmarks greatly enhances the i5 1335U’s rating.
