Summe Game Fest has now provided a release date for the game. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is officially set to release for PS5 on October 20, 2023. Fans will also be able to pre-order the game on June 16.

Official art for the game was also revealed, including a box art featuring both Miles Morales and Peter Parker, as well as another artwork showing them fighting Venom.
Aside from the reveal, Creative Director Bryan Intihar took part in the event to discuss the game. Bryan Intihar teased the inclusion of more villains in the game, in addition to the two main villains, Venom and Kraven the Hunter.
The Creative Director further revealed Insomniac Games’ take on Spider-Man’s most formidable foe, Venom. According to Bryan Intihar, the studio’s interpretation of Venom will be completely different from existing comics or any movies.
