CORSAIR Launches 24GB and 48GB Vengeance DDR5 Memory Modules

[Press-Release] CORSAIR is the first company oriented at the gamer market that announced the launch of 24GB and 48 GB DDR5 RAM modules. Specifically, the company debuted these memory configurations with its CORSAIR Vengeance modules.

CORSAIR only offers these modules in “Dual Channel” configurations. So they are sold in 2x 24 GB, 2x 48 GB, and 4x 48 GB configurations. In this way, the company proposes purchasing a minimum of 48GB of RAM.

While gaming requirements have skyrocketed, the 32 GB RAM still has plenty of life. With more than 32 GB of capacity, it is only profitable for professional use or content creators with many applications in the background that consume more resources.

Going to what matters, we have two options: the CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 and VENGEANCE DDR5. Its name already indicates the differences. One features RGB, and the other comes in a simple design.

These RAM modules can be purchased at 5,200 MHz with CL38 latencies or at a speed of 5,600 MHz with CL40 latencies.

These memory modules support On-Chip ECC (ODECC) and comply with Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO standards. These modules are much more interesting in Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX configurations, installing a single 24 GB module with prospects of reaching 48 GB if necessary in the future or directly forming a computer with 96 GB or 192 GB of RAM in such a size. In other words, create a top-of-the-range professional PC in a tiny space.

The cheapest modules start at 204.99 euros. For this price, you get the CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 memories in a 48GB configuration (2x 24 GB) at a frequency of 5,200 MHz.

If you want the model with a frequency of 5,600 MHz, the price already increases to 214.99 euros. With this price difference, it is clear that the most affordable option is not worth it.

On the other hand, the CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 starts at 214.99 euros at frequencies of 5,200 MHz (extra cost of RGB). The fastest model, its 5,600 MHz variant, increases its price to 229.99 euros.

On the other hand, the VENGEANCE in 96 GB capacity kits is priced at 419.99 euros (5,200 MHz) and 429.99 euros (5,600 MHz). The versions with RGB have respective prices of 429.99 and 444.99 euros. As regards the 192 GB capacity kits, these will go on sale on March 6th, 2023.
